It&#8217;s about time to leave the city and see something else. First stop: Sirao Flower Garden. That means not only green will have its part on the photos. (even though it&#8217;s hanging in there). I admit, it&#8217;s a good place to rest when the temperature is close to 40 degrees Celsius. Go ahead, have a break, have a &#8230; hammock.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-09-Sirao-break-time.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-9\" data-imagelightbox=\"9\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-206\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-09-Sirao-break-time-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And this is almost like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sunflowers_(Van_Gogh_series)\">Van Gogh.<\/a> (You know, &#8220;almost&#8221; is the keyword here &#8211; especially when talking about asking price for a painting)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-07-Sirao-sunflower.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-10\" data-imagelightbox=\"10\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-207\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-07-Sirao-sunflower-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are not sunflowers but i made the photo Van Gogh-esque anyway&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-08-Sirao-sunflowers.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-11\" data-imagelightbox=\"11\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-208\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lostpaths.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/2017-05-21-08-Sirao-sunflowers-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see from the above photos flora thrives in the Philippines. The same goes for the wildlife. The fact that Philippines is kinda tropical country (the word &#8220;kinda&#8221; is not necessary here) coupled with significant tectonic activity and varied land formations means that the archipelago is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. It&#8217;s even more than that: many of the species are thought to be endemic to the islands. Or in some cases endemic to just single one island or even just small part of the island.
