Yes, we are still here, the South Cotabato province of the Sox region (not the baseball team, remember?).<\/p>\n

I can tell you one thing: the region offers beautiful landscapes, great beaches, lush forests, high mountains (many of them are active or dormant volcanoes) and more. This can be said about the whole island of Mindanao. However, it is not frequented by tourists for certain reasons (especially foreign tourists).<\/p>\n

In this and following posts we will visit some interesting places that are not too far from General Santos.<\/p>\n

First let’s head to the Sarangani Highlands Garden – a resort on the outskirts of the city – stone’s throw from the fish port.<\/p>\n
